Doryce Wheeler, Soprano

Doryce Wheeler grew up in Goma, DRC where her parents were missionaries, and currently lives in Bridgewater, NJ with her husband and two dogs. She attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL, where she double-majored in International Studies and French and 20 years later, received a Masters in Language Education from Rutgers. She is an adjunct instructor of English as a Second Language at the college level. Her musical journey began with the flute in 4th grade, choir in 5th, piano in 6th and continues today with both piano and voice lessons. A member of Grace Community Church in Bridgewater, she serves as pianist and worship leader. In her spare time, she plays the piano, reads, golfs or birds. She is thrilled to be a part of Caritas in the company of such fine musicians, and in support of her "hometown." Mungu asifiwe! (Praise God!)
