Kristen Samsel, Alto

Kristen Samsel began singing at an early age thanks to her music loving family. She was actively involved in the music program at her high school, participating in choir, marching band, folk group and NJ All-State choir. She attended the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ where she double-majored in Chemistry and Nutrition. While at CSE, she took at least one music course every semester and sang in her college choir. Kristen grew up as a parishioner of St. Bernard of Clairvaux in Bridgewater, where she was in choir and a cantor.

Kristen resides in Hackettstown, NJ with her husband, Joe, their son, Elijah and their cats, Kiara and Isotope. She owns a chemistry tutoring business and in her spare time likes to read, hike and bake. Kristen and her family are parishioners of Our Lady of the Mountain in Long Valley, NJ. Kristen loves everything about the Caritas Chamber Chorale and is excited for another season of making music with this wonderful group.
