Pat O'Hearn, Tenor

Patrick O'Hearn has lived in Somerset County since his retirement in 2007 from a career in computer technology and application systems for major consumer products companies in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Tennessee. The father of three has four grandchildren whom he visits frequently with his wife Jo Ann. He has been a member of the St. Matthias Choir since 2008. He has been singing most of his life in a number of church, community and symphony choruses in different states as well as his high school, college and corporate choirs.

Pat is a graduate of the City University of New York and in his youth had the pleasure of singing and recording with the Welch Chorale in New York. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and various recital halls throughout the country. He enjoyed singing for five years with the Winston-Salem Symphony Chorus while living in North Carolina. His most memorable chorus event was in 2002 while a member of the Northeast Piedmont Chorale. He was part of an assembly of 500 singers from multiple choruses performing the Mozart Requiem for the first anniversary of 9/11 which was broadcast over the public air-waves around the country.

Currently, Pat and his wife enjoy their grandchildren and traveling in between singing, golf and fishing.
