Meg McKenna, Alto

Meg McKenna has been involved in music ministry since age 11, when she was invited to play flute at her cousin's wedding. She has worked in several parishes in the area, serving as Director of Music Ministry, Choir Director, and Praise Band Director. She is currently a cantor and choir member at St. Joseph's Church in High Bridge.

In addition to vocal music, Meg plays a variety of instruments including most of the woodwind family and her fondest instrumental love, jazz bass. She is devoted to musical theatre, playing reeds or bass in the pit for a number of professional, community, and school theatre groups. She is delighted to have this opportunity to add her voice to the talented musicians of Caritas.

Meg is a graduate of Villanova University and holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire. She is IT Manager and Database Administrator for Coffee Bean Direct, an online coffee roasting company located in Frenchtown.

Meg lives in Clinton with her guitarist-husband, Pete, and their 2 cats, Louie and Ella.
