Tom Gamarello, Tenor

Tom Gamarello has been singing ever since he joined choir as a freshman in high school. Early on he realized his love of music, and has not stopped since. Tom has performed in voice competitions, musicals, operas and concerts, both in the U.S. and abroad, including as a past winner of the NATS Competition in his age bracket, as Henrik in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, premiering Sametz’s Carmina Amoris as the tenor soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic, and dozens of classical concerts at Carnegie Hall. Tom also lived in Vicenza, Italy for a semester while concentrating on voice performance and composition.

Tom graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University with dual degrees in Political Science and Music, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and all of the choral groups the University offered at the time. He also graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh with a Master’s degree in Political Science. Tom received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, while attending law school at night, working full time during the day and raising a family somewhere in between. Tom was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review, the Student Bar Association, a Chancellor’s Scholar for the evening section, a Student Attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic at the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice, and an intern with the Attorney General’s office in the Division of Criminal Justice, Appellate Bureau in Trenton. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tom worked at ADP in Roseland, New Jersey for over a decade as a litigation, corporate and commercial real estate paralegal. Tom is now a litigation associate at Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Tom and his wife live in Branchburg, NJ with their two children and puppy. He is an avid New York Giants and New York Yankees fan, and enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
