Nancy Doherty, Soprano

Nancy Doherty, a Basking Ridge resident, has been singing most of her adult life. She earned a Bachelor’s of Music degree from Catholic University, where she participated in several operas and the Catholic University Chorus. After graduation she appeared as “Cherubino” in the Sussex County Lyric Opera production of “The Marriage of Figaro.”

After the births of her two children, she became a soloist and choir member for St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wharton, NJ. Nancy became devoted to sacred music and has been a choir member and soloist at other parishes in Morris and Somerset Counties, in particular, St. Bernard of Clairvaux in Bridgewater since 2007.

Also, in recent years, Nancy participated as a soloist and member of Voices Chorale of Princeton and Cantabile Chorale.

Nancy is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Caritas and positively contribute to its generous mission.
